Session 1

During working session 1 on the topic of 'Trend of international norms on cyber security and its military implications' with an expert panel of professors and industry leaders, participants will openly exchange their opinions. With the foray into the 4th industrial revolution, cyberspace is getting more intertwined into the real world and the significance of cyber security has only been highlighted. However, there is a growing realization that international norms are needed as domestic laws cannot solely counter transnational cyber threats. At this particular time when various efforts are taken worldwide to establish international norms on cyber security, this working session is expected to be an opportunity not only to grasp the trend of international norms on cyber security for response against cyber threats, but also to deeply consider the defense-related implications included.

Session 2

During working session 2 on the topic of 'Enhancement plan of cyber capacity for defense & Policy of cyber workforce development, training and management', participating countries will be able to exchange ideas on each nation's defense policy on cyber security through presentations and open discussion. The goal of this session is to identify fields of further cooperation and thereby strengthen trust among the countries by opening up the dialogue on national cyber security capacity enhancement plans including the cyber workforce acquisition and maintenance system and relevant training programs.
